The following statements describe what we are doing with your data and how long we store it, so that you are fully informed before submitting your personal information for your registration.

Why are we processing your personal data?
We ask for your personal data to facilitate your event registration and subsequent attendance, in-person or virtually, and to keep you informed of event updates and activities.
When you enter your email address into the conference registration form and proceed to at least one other page without submitting your registration, your contact details (name, email address, organisation, role and billing address) will be saved as 'incomplete data'. If we need to help you recover your registration attempt, we will use the incomplete data to find your form. You can request the deletion of this data at anytime by emailing the Data Protection Officer.
Other third parties that will have access to your personal data
Registration and expressions of interest for the EUVAS 2026 Course will mean that some of your data will be shared with representatives of the University of Cambridge (for payment processing purposes) and other third-party suppliers, such as graphic designers, printers of name badges, and venues for catering purposes
How long will we store your personal data?
Your personal data will be retained by the appointed organisers (Opening Doors & Venues Ltd) for two years. Your data will be retained by EUVAS 2026 Committee for one year. Your payment data, including full name, address, registration ticket and amount, payment method, tax details, will be retained by the University of Cambridge for a total of seven years for financial auditing purposes.
Your right to enquire about your personal data
